A warm welcome to the Cedar Point RV Resort & Marina!
We offer 5 spacious, fully equipped cabins close to the beach, as well as fully serviced sites for RVs featuring panoramic vistas of Kootenay Lake and Selkirk Mountains. If you prefer tenting, our secluded sites are located in a quiet forested area next to the lively Lockhart Creek. Come be immersed in the spectacular beauty of the Kootenay Lake region!
In the fall of 2021, 4 Canadian couples were captivated by the tranquil beauty on the eastern shores of Kootenay Lake, formerly known as The Bayshore Resort. The potential to introduce singles, couples and families to this pristine area was evident. From there, the vision was born to develop the lush campgrounds, cozy cabins, RV sites and the large lakefront marina area.
By the Spring of 2022, with the comfort of our future campers in mind, our all star Cedar Point team have been working tirelessly through continual snowfall, rain and unseasonable flooding.
As we continue to build, reno and develop each area of this beautiful lake property, we are driven by our desire to meet many new friends at Cedar Point. We are hopeful that all of our future campers will experience a comfortable and enjoyable vacation; action packed or crazy relaxed.
Explore the Area
Cedar Point RV Resort and Marina is located on the eastern shore of Kootenay Lake along highway 3A. We are only 26km south of the Kootenay Bay ferry landing at Crawford Bay and 55km north of Creston. We are just steps from Lockhart Beach Provincial Park and the Lockhart Creek Provincial Park Trail. Offering a lake-side, rustic setting while being close to amenities, Cedar Point is your ideal destination from which to explore the Kootenay Lake region. Take a day trip to Nelson or Kaslo on the world’s longest free ferry crossing while taking in the fantastic lake views along a section of the renowned International Selkirk Loop.

Marina
Cedar Point RV Resort and Marina offers a cement boat launch and 18 slips all within our protected marina. Our large breakwater ensures your craft is moored safely and is protected from wind and waves. We also offer wifi within the marina as well as boat trailer storage. Please inquire about our seasonal and daily rates. Please be aware that Marina facilities are offered to Cedar Point Guests and Members only.
